Dr. Asha Anne Jacob is a Specialist Ophthalmologist with more than 11 years of experience in her field across India & Middle East. She graduated from the Tribhuvan University of Nepal in 2006 and attained MS in Ophthalmology from the Annamalai University, India in 2011.During her career, she worked as a Specialist in Ophthalmology and Assistant Professor in the Department of Ophthalmology in various government and private practices and reputed medical institutions, such as Armed Forces Hospital Al Khoud Oman, Shifa Al- Jazeera Polyclinic Muscat Oman, Sri Gokulam Medical College Trivandrum India, and Bijan Singh Eye Hospital Nagercoil India.

Dr.Asha is an expert in handling all kinds of ophthalmological emergencies and outpatient and inpatient departments, attending all traumatic eye injury cases, handling chronic diseases, and in their integrated management. She also has vast experience in performing ophthalmology procedures including Chalazion removal, Eyelid Suturing, Enucleation, Evisceration, Tarsorraphy, LASER, Intravitreal injection, FFA, Cross linking, and SICS. She has been published and peer-reviewed in several publications and Ophthalmology journals and has presented several studies at various medical conferences. She speaks English, Hindi, Malayalam, Tamil and Arabic.
