What's the difference between NEO Card and Wellkins Protect?

Can I use SmartCare plans alongside my insurance?
The NEO Card cannot be combined with insurance or active promotional offers. Wellkins Protect is fully compatible with insurance. Since it operates as a direct wellness access membership (not insurance), insured members can use it to access 300+ diagnostic services at 10% co-pay without needing approvals. What is Wellkins Protect and how does the 10% co-pay work?
Wellkins Protect is a direct wellness access membership for QR 500/year. It gives you access to 300+ diagnostic and health services at just 10% of the general tariff price. For example, a Vitamin D test that normally costs QR 450 would cost you just QR 45. Ultrasound and physiotherapy carry a 25% co-pay. No doctor referral or approval is needed. Your annual coverage limit is QR 100,000.
What does "QR 25 deductible per visit" mean?
The NEO Card has no per-visit deductible. You pay QR 1/- per consultation regardless of the specialist. Wellkins Protect uses a different model: 10% co-pay on the general tariff for each diagnostic service used (25% for ultrasound and physiotherapy).
What services are not covered under these plans?
For NEO Card, pharmacy, health packages, vaccinations and promotions are not included. A 30% discount applies on lab, radiology, dental and dermatology services. For Wellkins Protect, packages, vaccinations and pharmacy items are billed at standard rates. All other diagnostic and health services are covered at 10% co-pay, making healthcare more affordable for everyone in Qatar.
Can I upgrade or switch between plans mid-year?
Both plans operate independently with 12-month validity. You can hold both a NEO Card and Wellkins Protect at the same time. Contact our team to discuss any plan changes or renewals. Wellkins Protect can be signed up at any time for QR 500/year.
