IV vitamin therapy delivers vitamins and fluids straight into the bloodstream through a small cannula. Because the infusion bypasses digestion, absorption does not depend on your gut, your appetite or how well you have been eating.
At Wellkins we use a licensed multivitamin preparation manufactured to pharmaceutical standards. Every session is prescribed by a doctor after reviewing your history, your medication list and your blood results.
This is a supportive therapy. It replenishes vitamins and fluids. It is not a treatment for any disease and it does not replace a balanced diet, adequate sleep or proper medical care for an underlying condition.
Six situations where a doctor at Wellkins may reasonably consider an infusion.
Five steps, from your first consultation to your follow-up.
A doctor reviews your history, medication and allergies.
Around 15 minutesWe check what your body actually needs rather than guessing at it.
Results in 24 to 48 hoursYour doctor decides whether an infusion is appropriate and at what frequency.
Only if indicatedA quiet, comfortable treatment room for the length of your infusion, with check-ins by your assigned nurse.
30 to 45 minutesYour doctor reviews your progress before any further session.
Before any repeatEach programme is a course of care, not a single drip. Your doctor confirms how many sessions you need, if any, before you pay for a single one.
Start here if you are not sure which programme fits
Persistent tiredness deserves a proper look before it is written off as stress. We investigate the cause first, then decide whether an infusion has any part to play in your recovery. If it does not, we will tell you so and treat what we actually find.
Included in the QR 500 session
Charged separately
Consultation with a general physician · Blood panel: CBC, iron, thyroid, vitamin D, B12, HbA1c · Results review and onward referral
Dermatology assessment with a nutritional review
For hair fall, brittle nails and dull, dry skin that has not responded to what you are putting on the surface. We look for what is going on underneath before adding anything else to your routine.
Included in the QR 500 session
Charged separately
Dermatology consultation with Dr. Steffy Mariyam Reji · Ferritin, vitamin D, B12 and thyroid · Review with your dermatologist
Iron studies with correction where it is needed
For low iron, heavy menstrual bleeding or recovery after delivery. Low iron is common, it is measurable and it responds well once it is properly identified.
Included in the QR 500 session
Charged separately
Gynecology consultation with Dr. Verlyn Zuniega Cruz · CBC, full iron studies, ferritin and vitamin D · Repeat bloods to confirm the response
For diabetes, thyroid and other long-term conditions
Long-term conditions and the medication that manages them can quietly deplete B12 and vitamin D over the years. This programme puts that check on a schedule instead of leaving it to chance.
Included in the QR 500 session
Charged separately
Internal medicine consultation with Dr. Jacob Neil · B12, vitamin D, HbA1c and renal function · A scheduled recheck, not a one-off
Nutritional cover while you are losing weight
Restricted eating plans and appetite-suppressing medication can pull your intake well below what your body needs. We watch for that and correct it, so progress on the scale does not cost you your energy.
Included in the QR 500 session
Charged separately
Weight management consultation with Dr. Jacob Neil or Dr. Mary Swapna Metreenj · B12, iron studies and nutritional markers · Monitoring alongside your weight plan
Nutritional support alongside rehabilitation
Recovery after injury or surgery places extra demand on the body and vitamin D sits low in a large share of people living in Doha. We assess whether that is holding your rehabilitation back.
Included in the QR 500 session
Charged separately
Assessment with Dr. Reneesh · Vitamin D, calcium and CBC · Reassessment as you progress
Session length 30 to 45 minutes

Book an assessment and we will tell you what your results actually show. If an infusion is not the answer, we will treat what is.
Six things that are true of every infusion given at Wellkins, without exception.
Every infusion is prescribed by a licensed doctor, never chosen by the patient alone.
Allergies and drug interactions are checked each time, not only on your first visit.
A quiet, comfortable treatment room for the length of your infusion, with check-ins by your assigned nurse.
Baseline investigations are taken and reviewed before your first session is booked.
Infusions are administered in a dedicated treatment room, not in a consultation chair.
A licensed multivitamin preparation containing vitamins A, B1, B2, B3, B5, B6, B12, C, D3, E, biotin and folic acid, manufactured to pharmaceutical standards with full batch traceability.
These are the situations where an infusion is not appropriate. We would rather you knew before you book than after.
If your results do not show a reason for an infusion, we will tell you and treat what we find instead.
The treatment itself
Yes. IV drip, vitamin drip and IV vitamin therapy all describe the same thing, vitamins and fluids delivered into a vein through a cannula. We call it a programme because the infusion is only one part of it. Consultation, blood work and a review come with it.
Some people notice better hydration and alertness within a day. Others notice nothing immediately, particularly if their levels were already adequate to begin with. That is exactly why we test before we treat.
Around 30 to 45 minutes for the infusion itself, plus a short observation period afterwards.
You will feel the cannula going in, much like a blood test. After that most people simply read, work or rest until the session finishes.
Your doctor decides, based on your results. It is not intended as a weekly routine. We set a maximum frequency for safety reasons and we hold to it.
Booking, cost and cover
Two. Blood work and your infusion are on separate days, usually 24 to 48 hours apart. If you work to a roster or are on a short layover, message us before booking and we will tell you whether it fits.
At Wellkins a single infusion session costs QR 500 and a prescribed course of three costs QR 1,200. Blood tests and the consultation are charged separately. Your doctor confirms how many sessions you need, if any, only after your results are back, so nobody pays for sessions before there is a reason for them.
Yes. We do not offer walk-in infusions, as every infusion is prescribed only after a doctor has reviewed your medical history and blood results.
No. IV vitamin therapy at Wellkins is self-pay, the same as our health packages. Reimbursement forms and itemised per-test pricing are not available.
Membership benefits apply to your consultation and your blood tests, not to the infusion session, which is charged at the standard rate. Wellkins Protect brings most lab tests down to 10 percent of the standard rate, so it often covers its cost on the first panel.
Not always. If your digestion is working well, oral supplements are cheaper and they work. Infusions are useful when absorption is impaired, when intake is low or when levels need correcting faster than tablets manage. Your doctor will tell you honestly which of those applies to you.
