Frequently Asked Questions

Got questions? We have got answers. If you can't find what you need, just send us a WhatsApp message.

Yes. Wellkins Medical Centre follows the official Qatar Ministry of Public Health (MoPH) immunisation schedule for children and recommends adult vaccines aligned with both MOH and WHO guidelines. Our clinical team stays current with any schedule updates issued by the National Vaccination Committee.
Vaccinations begin at birth with the BCG and the first Hepatitis B dose. The schedule continues at 2, 4, 6, 12 and 18 months, followed by a pre-school booster at 4–6 years and adolescent vaccines during early secondary school. Starting on time builds immunity during your child's most vulnerable early years.
No need to start the series over. Our team will review your child's vaccination history and put together a catch-up plan to get them back on track safely. Please bring any previous vaccination records when you visit.
We offer Hepatitis A, Hepatitis B, Twinrix (combined Hep A+B), Varicella, MMR, Tdap and Td, Tetanus Toxoid (TT), Typhoid, Meningococcal, Influenza, HPV (Gardasil) and PCV 20. If you need a specific vaccine not listed, contact us and we will advise accordingly.
Most vaccination appointments at Wellkins take between 15 and 30 minutes, including a brief consultation and a short observation period after the jab. Multi-dose visits or first-time appointments may take slightly longer. We recommend arriving a few minutes early with your QID and any previous vaccination records.
We recommend booking your appointment in advance via wellkins.com/visit for a smooth, prompt experience. Our team will also advise if a brief observation period is needed after the jab.
Please bring your QID. For paediatric visits, also bring your child's health card or previous vaccination record. If you have vaccination certificates from another country, bring those too so we can update your record accurately and avoid duplicate doses.
Yes. Up-to-date vaccination records are a standard requirement for nursery and school admission in Qatar. Wellkins can provide a vaccination certificate following your child's appointment. If your child was vaccinated abroad, bring the original records and we will help you verify and document their immunisation history.
